Ageing
Ageing is in French and American oak, with a proportion of new barrels. This softens and fills out this Reserva wine, whilst maintaining its original merits. Its long bottle ageing further improves the wine while ensuring that it arrives on the market ready for drinking.
Vineyards
80% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Tasting
A deep ruby, with a lighter rim, showing its age. Full ripe soft fruit nose, with a touch of spice and the oak in which the wine has matured. Full bodied, with a good fruit balance. Complex palate with hints of oak. A pleasant, deep aftertaste, witness to its age and origin. |
